LappDecentralized switches with IP67 protection

Lapp is launching two switches for use outside the control cabinet: thanks to IP67 classification, the Etherline Access PN IP67 Profinet switch and the Etherline Access U IP67 unmanaged industrial Ethernet switch are suitable for use directly in the field.

Oriental Motor is launching two new drivers for controlling AZ motors. They have been designed for Ethercat connection or RS485 communication and are suitable for all AZ drives with DC voltage (24/48 V(DC)). The version for RS485 communication weighs only 56 g and measures 47 mm x 53 mm x 24 mm, which is advantageous for driverless transport vehicles, for example. The drivers can be mounted directly without a DIN rail using two screws. With the help of a higher-level controller, they can also be used for voltage monitoring: They then emit an alarm signal when the voltage falls below a predefined level. This function is particularly useful for AGV applications to prevent battery failure during operation. The 'Servo Emulation Mode' optimizes the current according to the load: the current is higher for heavy loads and lower for light loads. The power supply range is specified as 20 to 32 V(DC) at 24 V(DC) and 40 to 55 V(DC) at 48 V(DC).
