With the multifunctional module CPS-MG341-ADSC1-111 M2M Gateway PLC Controller from Contec, Plug-In Electronic is expanding its portfolio with a further series of PLC data acquisition devices for industrial applications. The 'Conprosys M2M Gateway PLC' enables PLC systems from different companies to communicate with up to ten different connections. Application examples can be found in continuous data exchange or the central monitoring of widely branched infrastructure facilities. This allows a system integrator to check the status of operations/systems for several companies/customers simultaneously at any time using a smart device such as a tablet or smartphone. The controller is equipped with an ARM Cortex-A8 processor (600 MHz) and 512 Mbyte DDR3 SDRAM. NOR-FLASH is integrated and acts as a boot medium for the controller.
