With the DNP/AISS1, SSV is presenting an evaluation board with various sensors and pre-installed machine learning algorithms for industrial applications. The aim is to create applications that convert sensor data into information using classification or regression, for example. The board comes with a Docker container. This contains preconfigured and ready-to-use development tools for the training phase and modeling. A webinar is also offered to all board users. According to SSV, traditional firmware developments for embedded systems are complex and relatively inflexible over the entire product life cycle, which is why the company is taking a new approach: an adaptive algorithm with artificial intelligence (AI) is connected between the input and output data of a microcomputer and configured for a specific task using special training data. This creates a mathematical model that maps the respective relationship between the inputs and outputs.
