Current figures on industrial robotics worldwide

According to the robotics association IFR, global sales of industrial robots reached a new record last year with 381,000 units delivered. This means that annual sales of industrial robots have risen by 114% in the past five years (2013 - 2017). The sales value climbed by 21% to a new high of 16.2 billion US dollars compared to 2016. According to the forecast, the annual number of industrial robots delivered to the world's factories will reach around 630,000 units in 2021.
