Version 8.2 of the Simatic PCS 7 process control system has now been equipped with many new functionalities. On the one hand, these are intended to improve the user-friendliness, performance and efficiency of the process control system over the entire life cycle of process plants - from planning through to maintenance. On the other hand, plant engineers should benefit from more efficient engineering solutions, operators from greater convenience in their daily work and operators from higher system availability and lower overall operating costs.
