Yaskawa - Automation, drive and control solutions from a single source
As a prelude to the growing i³ Control portfolio, Yaskawa presents the first motion controller with EtherCAT master of the overall i³ Control solution: the iC9212M-EC. The controller with Linux-based operating system has an EhterCAT master interface for connecting servo and frequency inverters. HMIs can be connected via an OPC UA server. The motion controller also uses the modules of the SLIO system as an I/O platform.
The iC9212M-EC motion controller is the first hardware product under the umbrella of the completely new i³ Control automation platform. The ecosystem forms a technically coordinated overall solution for industry-specific control systems - from the engineering software and controller hardware to the integrated chip technology.
