Indu-Sol - Robust network communication
Indu-Sol has developed the Promesh P10X diagnostic switch for Profinet and Industrial Ethernet. Integrated sensors monitor parameters that ensure communication quality. The diagnostic switch performs port-related online line diagnostics to permanently monitor the physical status of the connected data lines. The results are displayed as a bar chart in the switch's web interface according to the traffic light color principle, but can also be automatically reported to the PLC, e-mail or network management system if predefined triggers are not met. The integrated network monitoring of the managed switch from Indu-Sol provides information on the utilization of the network. Ten ports ensure a data transfer rate of up to 1.0 Gbit/s. In the event of high utilization, an internal dynamic memory ensures that telegrams that cannot be forwarded due to a momentary overload of the switch are temporarily stored for later transmission. Time-critical telegrams can be forwarded with priority in up to eight queues per port.
