TL Electronic presents the L140TG rugged laptop. The mobile device can be transformed from a 'fully rugged' laptop into an IP65-protected industrial tablet. The metal housing is splash-proof and dust-proof and tested for resistance to shocks and vibrations in accordance with MIL-STD810H. This makes the laptop suitable for use in industrial and outdoor computing. At its core, an eleventh-generation Intel Tiger Lake processor provides computing power. The laptop comes with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise as standard and can be upgraded to Windows 11 if required. The chipset, which can be upgraded to 32 Gbytes of RAM, is cooled fanlessly. The display is available in 13.3 and 14-inch versions and is seamlessly welded to the housing. Tablet mode deactivates the keyboard and activates the 10-point touch function. Two battery compartments on the underside of the device enable hot-swap replacement. An expansion slot enables the insertion of an interface or memory card.
