Fanuc is launching the CR-7iA collaborative robot, which works with a maximum payload of 7 kg. As with the CR-35iA, it is also based on a large-scale production model. The mechanics of the CR-7iA correspond to the robots in the 'LR Mate' series, with the controller familiar from these robots serving as the controller. Routine tasks and workplaces with unfavorable ergonomic conditions will be the preferred area of application for the collaborative robot, which does not work behind a safety fence but allows humans to contribute their cognitive and sensory abilities.
