SVS-Vistek is launching ten USB3 models of the 'Exo' camera series (exo342, exo367, exo387) with resolutions of 31, 19 and 17 megapixels, which are based on the CMOS sensors 'Pregius 2' from Sony. With large, square pixels with an edge length of 3.45 µm, these sensors are very light-sensitive and, according to the supplier, deliver an extremely high dynamic range. With their front plate cross-section of 58 mm x 58 mm, the sensors cover sensor formats up to APS-C and Four-Thirds. Despite their high resolutions, the 'Exo' camera models enable frame rates of 11.5 fps, 18.5 fps and 21.5 fps with a maximum USB3 bandwidth of 360 Mbyte/s net. The highly integrated cameras also offer an integrated 4-channel LED flash controller, which saves the user from having to use an additional device. Extensive sequencer functions, the specially milled housing with sensor and adjustment quality and temperature management ensure consistent results over a wide temperature range. In special tracer versions of the cameras, MFT lenses (Micro-Four-Thirds) can be controlled via GenICam commands and enable focus, zoom and aperture to be adjusted to new tasks within milliseconds. These tracer variants take over the complete control of lighting and lens.
