Under its own brand 'Conrac', Data Modul presents a device concept for outdoor applications with extreme environmental conditions: The 7955 PD Real Outdoor display with a diagonal of 55 inches / 139 cm can be used in portrait or landscape format. The FullHD D-LED TFT panel with a brightness of 4500 cd/m² in combination with a special front glass enables unrestricted use of the display even in places with direct sunlight. According to the supplier, the front glass is specially manufactured for outdoor use and offers protection against IR and UV radiation as well as virtually no reflection losses. The TFT panel is bonded directly to the front glass using optical bonding technology. Thanks to a special, integrated heat management system, the real outdoor display can be operated in environments of +50 °C and in direct sunlight without having to dim the backlight. The integrated heating system also enables operation at temperatures as low as -33 °C. In addition, the entire unit is sealed to be waterproof and resistant to fine dust and complies with protection class IP65. The absence of fans and filters makes the unit maintenance-free.
