Lenze - Open Automation Platform
Lenze's Open Automation Platform Nupano is designed to help companies implement digital business models at machine level, make the complexity of software in series machine construction manageable and protect core competencies. Based on a combination of standard interfaces and container technology, the platform will be the key to managing software applications in mechanical engineering across the entire life cycle of the machine - from development to operation, according to the company. During the development phase, the platform offers intelligent sharing functions for testing and validation purposes. In-house applications and public software modules are housed in the machine and app management. The applications are transferred to an industrial PC via the digital twin in the system, where they are executed by the Nupano Runtime. Companies that have developed their own apps can bring them directly onto the platform.
