Captron has been offering TCP laser measuring units for the precise measurement and calibration of robot tools and devices for some time now. Now the company is offering a software module for calibrating tool center points (TCPs). The TCP measurement technology for production lines with various industrial robots ensures precise measurement and tool calibration with a reproducibility of 0.01 mm. The redundancy of the two lasers for the X and Y axes prevents incorrect measurements of both metallic and non-metallic objects due to reflective laser beams. Various designs of the TCP measuring units and integrated fitting holes enable precise positioning in series production.
