The Remote Assist software application from Optima supports operators in real time when problems occur directly at the machine. The main function of the software is real-time communication to resolve technical problems quickly. If a problem occurs during ongoing production, the Optima service expert can join in via live video and audio transmission within a few moments and guide the operator in troubleshooting or carrying out urgently needed work.
This is possible via mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets or augmented reality glasses. Documents such as videos and operating instructions can also be transmitted live. The 'Remote Assist' supplements the 'Format Change Assistant', which provides support for format changes.
