For the 'M-Log V3' data logger, Ipetronik offers the Comgate V3 communication module for wireless data transmission in accordance with the 4G or LTE standard. The hardware system is supplemented by the 'Ipecloud' web portal. The data logger is suitable for validating and testing development vehicle fleets. It offers up to twelve measurement inputs for CAN, LIN, Ethernet and Flexray as well as a wide range of protocols such as XCP, CCP, OBD and J1939. With the communication module, users can now control their globally operating vehicle fleets remotely. The hardware module is compatible with existing data logger fleets and older versions of the 'Testdrive' operating system, both in terms of dimensions and software. In addition to Wi-Fi, the communication module offers global modem support, which enables easy access to measurement data and measurement configuration updates. The modem also has a mini SIM card slot, can be fitted with modular equipment and can be selected for North America, EMEA, APAC/South America. The IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n standards are covered for W-LAN transmission. Comgate V3 itself can set up an access point to support mobile devices. The 'Ipecloud' offers various services for controlling a data logger fleet - such as the management of incoming measurement data, including fast status monitoring and remote updating of the logger configuration.
