Baumüller is optimizing the DST2 high-torque motors with speed increases and power extensions: Depending on the size, the motors in sizes 135 to 400 now achieve speeds of up to 2000 min-1. At the same time, the output of size 400 has been increased from 320 kW to 530 kW. With the motors in the series, the company offers direct drive technology for low-maintenance and energy-efficient solutions. The motors are currently available in five sizes, size 560 is in preparation.
