The two device types differ in the dimensions of the scratch-resistant, resistive touchscreen. The more compact F08 device with an 8-inch diagonal offers a luminance of 500 cd/m² and 1024 × 480 pixels in 16:9 format, while the larger F10 variant with a 10.4-inch diagonal has a luminance of 400 cd/m² and 1024 × 768 pixels in 4:3 format. 5 or 10 function keys can be freely programmed on the front of the device. The F08 also has a full Qwerty keyboard. In the magnesium alloy housing, the quad-core Atom E3845 processor operates fanlessly at 4 × 1.91 GHz. The network options include 802.11-a/b/g/n dual-band WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, 3G/4G, COM, USB, LAN as well as an additional camera and CAN bus, for example for fleet management applications. The devices offer dust and water jet protection in accordance with IP65, are shock and vibration resistant in accordance with military standard MIL-STD-810G and can be used at temperatures from -30 to +50 °C.
