Schmersal - Door handle system especially for heavy swing doors
Schmersal is launching the ergonomic DHS-150 door handle system for the 'AZM150' solenoid interlock. It eliminates the need for a separate door handle and is suitable for machine enclosures and fencing as well as for standard 40 mm wide aluminum profiles. The door latch is particularly suitable for heavy swing doors and can be used in harsh environmental conditions. The actuator is pre-positioned by the latch in the DHS system and thus, according to the supplier, retracts optimally into the device. This makes the system stable against lateral forces. An integrated locking device (LOTO) protects operating personnel from being accidentally locked in during maintenance and repair work on larger, accessible machines and in systems. The locking device ensures that the door of the safety guard cannot be closed, thus preventing unintentional machine start-up. The 'AZM150' has a locking force of 1,500 N and can be combined with three different actuators for different mounting situations.
