Servotecnica is further expanding its portfolio with new mini motors for high performance and dynamics with compact dimensions. According to the manufacturer, the brushless mini motors in the SVTN A series are particularly economical, durable and highly efficient. Despite their small diameters of 12 to 40 mm, they achieve outputs of up to 400 W. The advantages of the new mini motor technology are high torque and high speed. The lack of cogging torque, low torque ripple, linear correlation between speed and torque, low inertia and low weight result in higher performance and dynamics. The motors can be equipped with Hall sensors and optionally with optical or magnetic encoders to precisely control the speed. They are also available with integrated electronics and fieldbus connection. If required, they can also be equipped with attachable precision gearboxes. The SVTN A series micro planetary gearboxes with diameters of three to 44 mm achieve outputs of up to 300 W. The gear stages can be made of steel or plastic, and mixed configurations are also available if required. The micro planetary gearboxes are lubricated depending on temperature and functionality and are available with plain, ball or special bearings.
