Moxa is introducing industrial intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS) alongside the MXsecurity security management suite. These are designed to turn the EDR-G9010 series all-in-one routers into an industrial firewall. Equipped with threat detection and prevention functions, critical infrastructures are to be protected more effectively against attacks on IT security. The routers can also be managed centrally on site.
The all-in-one routers and the security management suite are IT security solutions for industrial environments that take into account the requirements of production planners. They combine network and industrial IT security to create defense-in-depth protection. The solutions are also designed for reliability and end-to-end connectivity to create durable, high-performance industrial networks.
