The sensorless standstill monitor UG 6946 from Dold's 'Safemaster S' series has a width of 22.5 mm. If a machine no longer emits a hazardous movement, the safety gate can be released directly when a standstill is detected. The standstill monitor can be easily retrofitted and is therefore also suitable for retrofitting. The absence of sensors or encoders makes installation simple. The standstill monitor complies with SIL 3 or PL e/Cat. 4 and is used to release a solenoid interlock or activate a holding brake, for example on saws in woodworking, machine tools or in conveyor technology.
