Walking through a self-designed bathroom or room and completely immersing yourself in your own ideas - thanks to the invention by Stefan Hörmann, Dominik Nuß, Simon Singler and Fabian Weiss, room planners can do just that. The founders of ImmerSight have developed video glasses that allow users to look around and move around in a virtual world. The glasses are integrated into a pentagonal carbon ring. A camera fixed to the ceiling records the user's movements. Based on the data obtained, an algorithm calculates the so-called head pose, i.e. the position and orientation of the user. Any 3D software can use the head pose to display the appropriate perspective in virtual space. The founding quartet won one of the main prizes in the 'Gründerwettbewerb - IKT Innovativ' in March 2012. They used the start-up capital to found ImmerSight GmbH.
