Eaton is expanding its range of control and signaling devices with the RMQ compact solution series. With this all-in-one solution, cables, connectors and housings are already integrated and permanently installed. As variants with preconfigured connectors and different cable lengths, the devices enable plug & play installation. The assignment of a single order number makes selection, ordering and stock-keeping easier for the user. The series is characterized by encapsulation against dust, other fine foreign particles or liquids with protection ratings of IP67 and IP69k on the front and IP65 on the rear. The various connection technologies, such as the pre-configured cable connections with M8 and M12 plugs or cables with open ends in various cable lengths, simplify product selection and installation. In addition to standard wiring, integration into automation architectures is possible via AS-i and Eaton's SmartWire-DT. In terms of design, the operating devices are still available in the classic version and in future in a particularly flat version.
