The capacitive push-buttons in the Ramo C+ series from Rafi are designed for standardized installation openings of 22.3 mm and 30.3 mm and can be used as normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) contacts. Their integrated RGB LED enables individual selection of the preferred actuation colors from a spectrum of 16 million colors. The flashing color and flashing frequency, which can be set as required using the 'on-time' and 'off-time' parameters, can also be configured by the supplier according to customer specifications. By applying the signal to PIN 2, additional functions are available that can be used to define color combinations for the 'unactuated' and 'actuated' states in addition to the flashing function. The switching function can also be configured as momentary, switching or pulse-based, depending on requirements: The 'Pulse' function switches an output pulse regardless of the frequency and duration of actuation, the maximum duration of which can be variably set in milliseconds from a few seconds. To prevent accidental actuation, an artificial latency time in milliseconds can also be selected, which delays the change of state from 'unactuated' to 'actuated' - or vice versa. The push-button housings are available with four-pin M8 or M12 connectors for plug & play connection. Regardless of the structure of the input circuit, they can be integrated into both a PNP and NPN circuit. Thanks to the wear-free capacitive input technology and the one-piece, fully enclosed housing with protection class IP69K, the push-buttons are suitable for both harsh environmental conditions and hygienically sensitive applications.
