The web-based Remote Access Platform (RAP) from Sigmatek provides a wide range of remote maintenance options. Machine data can be collected and analyzed here. Via the central interface, technicians can set up a secure VPN connection with the desired machine so that the machine or system visualization can be operated via VNC. Users can carry out software updates, debugging and maintenance as if they were directly on site. VPN data communication to the 'RAP' takes place via 'Remote Access Router' (RAR); alternatively, a software-based implementation in the machine control system as 'Embedded Remote Access' is possible. The remote access routers for the DIN rail ensure that the highest IT security standards can be met. Various RAR variants are available: Ethernet only, SIM 3G/4G as well as Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + 4G LTE. The 'Cloud Logging' and 'Cloud Notify' functions are available on the central 'RAP' cloud platform for deep insights into the machine, alarm setup and data reports.
