The NT24k-8TX-POE from Welotec is an 8-port all-gigabit PoE+ managed switch with redundant power connections (22 to 49 V(DC)), so that operation can be maintained even if one power source fails. The switch has a built-in voltage converter and, according to the provider, guarantees full PoE+ performance even with a low input voltage. This makes the solution particularly suitable for applications such as surveillance cameras, panel displays and WLAN access points. The Power-over-Ethernet switch has a robust metal housing for top-hat rail mounting and operates at temperatures from -40 to +80 °C. The shock and vibration resistance of 200 and 50 g respectively ensures reliable operation even in harsh industrial environments. The newer 802.3at standard is supported, which is suitable for Gigabit (1000Base-T).
