With the single-phase thyristor power controller 'TYA S201' for pulse group operation and the three-phase thyristor power controller 'TYA S202' for pulse group operation in economy circuit, Jumo is rounding off its portfolio of power controllers with two entry-level models. The two thyristor power controllers can be used, for example, in industrial oven and dryer construction, in continuous flow and air heaters as well as in simple heating applications for currents from 20 to 250 A. The devices can be put into operation quickly via the optional Profinet interface. Both devices have a so-called "teach-in" function. With this self-learning function, the limits are set automatically when a partial load break is detected. The cyclical adjustment ensures permanent and precise monitoring, even if the characteristic data of the heating element changes. Direct access to all relevant process data provides a quick insight into the machine status and enables predictive maintenance with the help of integrated diagnostic systems.
