The image processing software EyeVision 3.1.12 LTS from EVT has Profinet support and an SQL database. According to the provider, it is also designed and prepared for Industry 4.0. In addition to the revised color evaluation, the code reader (DMC, barcode, QR) has also been expanded. The complete command set of the 'EyeVision' software is available to users, making the system suitable for metrology, code reading, OCR/OCV, object recognition, surface and color inspection, pattern matching, 3D and RobotVision, among others. With the software's graphical user interface (GUI), the inspection programs can be put together in a similar way to selecting apps on a smartphone by choosing the graphical tools and commands. In addition, the software version has an extended 3D command set and more directly available filter commands. The toolbox has been expanded; there is also a plug-in that allows users to integrate commands they have put together themselves into the graphical user interface.
