Escha has a new variant of its connector family for the food and beverage industry in its range: the connectors do without the stainless steel sleeve and instead have an optional low-cost plastic sleeve in hygienic design.
According to the manufacturer, the plastic sleeves are extremely robust and can be tightened both by hand and with a torque wrench. They then meet the tightness requirements of IP67, IP68 and IP69. Due to their plastic composition, they are resistant to Ecolab cleaning agents.
They can also be used in temperatures between -40 and +105 °C.
The plastic sleeves are available for M12 connectors in three, four or five-pin versions. There is a choice of three cable qualities, which can be combined with straight and angled plugs and sockets.
