The Paro palletizing robot from Roteg has a new gripper system. The multifunctional gripper can palletize both cartons and intermediate layers using vacuum suction cups. It also has grippers with which it can grip boxes and empty pallets. The gripper therefore takes on numerous tasks in the palletizing process: it can handle different types of packages, ensure greater load stability with intermediate layers of paper or cardboard and also provide empty pallets for palletizing.
