Ultrasonic flow measurement technology: With the Sitrans FS230, Siemens is launching a combination of the new Sitrans FST030 transmitter and the existing Sitrans FSS200 clamp-on transducers. The transmitter is equipped with a Digital Sensor Link, which digitizes the signal at the earliest possible point in time during the measurement. This minimizes external influences and optimizes the signal-to-noise ratio. Thanks to the 100 Hz signal processing (data update) and the integrated PerformancePLUS algorithm, the transmitter detects even the smallest changes in the flow rate with a consistently high accuracy of 0.5 % to 1 % of the flow rate.
