Belden - Managing industrial edge devices and data
Belden, a provider of specialist networking solutions, is launching the Belden Horizon industrial edge solution, a new platform designed to connect operational systems at the network edge while ensuring security and communication with the cloud. It features SRA (Secure Remote Access) and PDN (Persistent Data Network), as known from 'ProSoft Connect', and also offers functions such as edge orchestration, data monitoring and anomaly detection based on short-term data.The console includes SaaS (Software as a Service) technology that enables operations staff to manage industrial edge devices more efficiently with edge orchestration capabilities. Edge orchestration allows users to deploy and manage edge applications on one or more devices simultaneously, locally or remotely.
