Gemalto, provider of digital security solutions, has two new products for data encryption in its portfolio. Safenet Luna HSM 7 (Hardware Security Module) offers good scalability and a high number of simultaneous processes such as encryption and decryption, authentication and digital signing. At the same time, the module protects encryption keys against misuse and theft. Thanks to the new features, larger volumes of data can be encrypted and more keys can be managed to protect information and programs. In total, up to 10,000 RSA-2048 or 20,000 ECC-P-256 operations can be carried out per second. The module's speed and performance make it suitable for applications such as IoT, blockchain or data encryption. The 100 Gbps Safenet High Speed Encryptor offers better performance values and security mechanisms to secure large amounts of data over extensive networks and ensure protected communication. The product encrypts on the second layer to protect information in networks, between individual locations or in the cloud.
