The OFV-5000 Xtra laser vibrometer from Polytec is designed for vibration measurement at high vibration velocities, amplitudes and accelerations. Thanks to its optical sensitivity, the sensor generates meaningful vibration measurement data regardless of the surface - even at variable working distances. The combination of the high-quality optics of the MLV-I-120 vibrometer measuring head and the powerful decoder electronics in the controller ensures good performance: vibration velocities of up to ±25 m/s can be measured as well as frequencies in the ultrasonic range up to 24 MHz, displacements with a resolution in the sub-picometer range or accelerations. Two easily and quickly interchangeable lenses in conjunction with the integrated autofocus ensure the best possible signal quality at small and large working distances. The alternative robust fiber optics as an attachment for the measuring head makes it easier to measure in tight, hard-to-reach situations and overhead. The measuring system is connected to all common data acquisition systems, FFT analyzers or oscilloscopes via the analogue voltage output. The large, color touch displays simplify operation.
