Hradil - Reelable high-speed fiber optic hybrid cable:
Hradil has developed a hybrid cable including fiber optic cable that is designed for controlling industrial systems and is also suitable for moving applications, such as in a drag chain or on a cable drum. The fiber optic cables used for the hybrid cable can be implemented either as single-mode fiber optic cables or alternatively with multimode fiber optic cables. The fiber optic hybrid cable has copper conductors according to customer requirements to supply power to different system components.
The fiber optic hybrid cable was designed for extreme mechanical loads of up to 10,000 N and a bending radius of up to 10 x outer diameter. The blue high-endurance hybrid cable has a special polyurethane outer sheath that is highly abrasion-resistant. The outer cable sheath is resistant to oil and petrol as well as ozone, UV, coolants, lubricants and cold cleaners. The hybrid cable is also qualified for use in temperature ranges between -40 and +85 °C.
