
With the Comos Mobile Operations App, Siemens offers plant maintenance technicians in the process industry mobile support for carrying out maintenance work and managing fault messages in the field. The app's intuitive user interface is clearly divided into the areas of maintenance and events. Thanks to the app's redlining function, documents can be edited directly by editing and adding information. The app is connected to the 'Comos' asset information management system so that users can access all plant data at all times. Information entered via the app is in turn synchronized with Comos. Maintenance staff can access their work packages directly via the 'Maintenance' tab on the home screen. The upcoming maintenance activities are listed there, including further details such as the required materials, maintenance documents and information about the equipment. Under the 'Events' tab, the maintenance technician reports faults in the system. He can assign a title, description and priority to these faults. Each event is given a date and time stamp and can be addressed to a specific person for further follow-up.
