Pilz presents a solution package comprising safety and security to safeguard driverless transport systems (FTS). The included security solution via the SecurityBridge firewall protects AGVs against unauthorized access when communicating via radio. The PSENscan security laser scanner enables the protection and area monitoring of mobile platforms. The PSENscan ROS packages provide the data for the dynamic navigation of AGVs.
If further safety functions such as emergency stop are to be covered on the AGV, users can use a product solution consisting of PSENscan and the modular safety relay myPNOZ. If requirements change, myPNOZ can be added as required if the range of functions is expanded in the future. The configurable small controller PNOZmulti 2 with motion monitoring module is also suitable for more complex protective field adaptations of freely navigating AGVs. Various command and signaling devices such as the evaluation unit PITmode fusion, PITreader, the emergency stop button PITestop and the muting lamps PITsign complete the monitoring system.
