The CKS2 key system from Euchner can be used for locking machines and systems, for assigning authorizations, for selecting an operating mode or as a key transfer system. It is available with integrated evaluation electronics as a submodule for installation in the MGB2 Modular safety gate system. The key system can also be used without programming and can be assigned to several key adapters in different systems. The scalable system is designed to replace key exchange boxes and key distribution stations. Thanks to coded RFID keys based on transponders, tamper protection and a security level in accordance with category 4 / PL e are guaranteed. The key is configured right at the start by teaching it to the Electronic-Key adapter. As a compact system, connection to IO-Link is possible via the manufacturer's own gateways, which provide relevant diagnostic and device data for the higher-level control system. The key system is integrated into the MGB2 safety gate system as a submodule and thus directly connected to the bus module.
