Zander Aachen is expanding its range of safe mini time controllers 'SCB'. Input and output delay as well as free parameterization of the inputs and outputs are already available. The time control offers precisely parameterizable time ranges from 0.1 s to 99 h. Typical applications include bypass pressure monitors, filtering short-term fluctuations and monitoring boiler flushing times. The logic of the two signal outputs is adapted in the new SCB version: In addition to the non-delayed and delayed safe outputs, one signaling output each is available with the corresponding inverted signals. This makes it easier to retrofit existing systems, where previous relay solutions with a normally closed/ normally open combination can be replaced by an 'SCB' variant. The delayed reset functionality has also been added. This prevents accidental resetting of safety systems if someone is still in the danger zone of the machine. One or more buttons must be pressed for a defined maximum time to reset the system.
