Flying faster than light, disassembling and reassembling the body or shooting with a phaser. What remains utopia 55 years after the first 'Star Trek' episode and what is already reality? Further examples of how our lives have not only caught up with the fictional "Star Trek" world, but have even overtaken it: Captain Kirk walks through a door that opens automatically in front of him and closes again behind him. Today, similar technology - also based on environmental sensors - can be found at the entrance to almost every supermarket. Here is an example from Budapest: a woman walks through the entrance of a supermarket in the center of the Hungarian capital.
