The nanosensors from Nanolike are strain gages in which nanoparticles are applied to the active area (100 µm) in a process. According to the manufacturer, the special application technology at nano level allows even minimal deformations to be measured over a very large measuring range and at less than 1 µW. In addition to the usual areas of application for strain gages such as pressure, tension, force, weight or torsion, the nanosensors are said to be particularly suitable for Industry 4.0, the Internet of Things and especially for the wearables sector. The sensors have a high sensitivity of 1 to 2000 µm/m (limit 0.2 %), which is up to 30 times higher than conventional strain gages, according to the manufacturer. They operate in a temperature range of -40 to +50 °C. Nanolike's nanosensors are strain gages in which nanoparticles are applied to the active area (100 µm) in a process.
