With the portable measurement data acquisition system Gen2tb, HBM Test and Measurement (HBM) presents an entry-level device for high-speed measurement technology with sampling rates of up to 250 MS/s. Typical applications include the testing of electrical networks (eGrids), electrical drive trains (eDrive), ultra-fast mechanical tests and electrical transient recording. Thanks to its modular design, the system is suitable as an entry-level model, but can also be used as a high-end transient recorder - or even in "mixed" applications, according to the manufacturer. The device has 2 slots, making it a cost-effective choice for small channel counts, according to the manufacturer. With its compact size, the device can also be used for mobile applications in addition to stationary use. The entire system can also be expanded to include up to 12 current or voltage channels, 16 high-speed sensor channels (such as strain gauges or accelerometers) or up to 24 channels. Mixed test setups are also possible here. The price includes the Perception high-speed software, which is designed to enable the secure streaming of even very large amounts of data.
