The Circular Hybrid Connector (CHC) from TE Connectivity is particularly suitable for industrial Ethernet connections of hydraulic and pneumatic valves. The circular connector with eight power and four data contacts was developed for real-time applications in machine automation where high data rates and currents of up to 10 A are required. The connector can optionally be equipped with inserts for eleven contacts and a protective earth conductor (PE). It complies with the Varan standard (Versatile Automation Random Access Network). Typical applications for the hybrid connector include welding, punching, milling and injection molding processes.
