Lenze has expanded the 'i500' frequency inverter family with the decentralized variant i550 protec in IP66 and networked with IO-Link. The company is starting with a power range up to 2.2 kW, with a gradual expansion up to 75 kW planned.

If an IO-Link master is already in use in a network, the frequency inverter can be connected at the same time - independently of the higher-level control system.

The devices are parameterized automatically during series commissioning or during device replacement during servicing.
The decentralized communication standard ASi-5 can also be flexibly connected to the 'Lenze i550' IO-Link interface. All other common fieldbus interfaces are optionally available.

The IP66 or NEMA 4X Outdoor & Indoor design of the devices ensures maximum protection against adverse environmental conditions, such as high temperatures, dust, dirt or water jets during cleaning work.

For coordination.
