T&G Automation's portfolio includes the Edge&Cloud platform IICS (Industrial Internet Control System). In contrast to the closed loops of traditional control systems, the IICS networks control systems and evaluates the data collected from entire systems simultaneously. Processing takes place not only in the cloud, but in some cases at the machine or system level (on the edge), enabling IICS control solutions to implement modern Industry 4.0 applications and helping companies to improve their productivity and profitability with self-optimizing processes. The industrial cloud platform 'Predix' as PaaS (Platform as a Service) forms the basis for data storage, analysis, digitalization, optimization and transformation of business processes. The platform also opens up the market to the industrial app economy and enables companies or third-party providers to integrate their own customized solutions (applications).
