Fighting the coronavirus with 3D printing

As part of EMAG's own workplace safety analysis in the current pandemic situation, an employee's idea to solve the "door handle" problem was implemented. People everywhere try to avoid door handles as much as possible. Wherever possible, they use their forearm and elbow to open doors. This trick works well as long as you can push the door open. If you have to pull, it becomes difficult.

The company "Materialise" has developed a corresponding product for the domestic 3D printer, which the EMAG employee has now implemented for everyday industrial use.

EMAG would like to share the design and instructions for the door opener aid for industrial use free of charge to help in the fight against the spread of the coronavirus. Click here for all downloads.
