The electronic active current meters in the 7E series from Finder with mechanical or LCD display are available as single-phase or three-phase versions for alternating and three-phase current in various designs. They act as measuring instruments in residential and functional buildings as well as in industrial machines of all kinds, charging stations, elevators, car washes or control systems, for example. Compared to simple electricity meters, they enable the precise recording of one or two tariffs with the availability of daytime and night-time electricity as well as secure remote reading in accordance with DIN 43864 via the integrated S0 interface. Communication with a higher-level control system takes place either via M-Bus or Modbus. In addition, the active energy meters comply with the European Measuring Instruments Directive MID.
