The identities of online retailers are generally difficult to trace and prosecution is often difficult - as in this case: the Swiss knife manufacturer Viktorinox is the victim of counterfeiting. Its trademark - the cross and shield - often entices consumers to buy it. However, the promise of quality associated with the original brand is not kept by the extremely cheap counterfeit (see plagiarism on the right) (blurred knives, non-functioning magnifying glass, etc.), counterfeited by an online retailer.
