The entire digital background of the smart sensor technology is already being used in these pilot systems: status messages and key performance indicators are not only recorded but also transmitted to the ABB cloud via a gateway. Pump operators can then read the data via an app on their smartphone or in a browser. ABB and specialized partner companies can also carry out further analyses in the cloud to identify relevant trends or perform cloud-based services.
