Pilz is expanding the web-based visualization solution PASvisu to include alarm management and an OPC UA interface for connection to small controllers. For users of the configurable small controllers "PNOZmulti", the visualization solution now also enables direct connection. Thanks to the OPC UA interface, the tool can be connected to all standard controllers on the market. All controller variables can thus be automatically transferred to the software. The direct connection to the provider's configurable small controllers means that more functions are available: for example, all inputs and outputs of the hardware components controlled via the controller are transferred. The visualization solution's diagnostics option is also available for safety functions. The alarm management function can be used to create and acknowledge alarms, create a list of active alarms and a log of past alarms and export them as a csv file. A tile for the active alarm status and alarm banners are available for visualization. A filter function in the "PASvisu Runtime" and online language switching for all alarms round off the range of functions.
